    I reread it carefully and nah, his dad (Rokuhiro) smithed it after the war. It's the same sword that Chihiro was gripping when he was looking at his dad's corpse.

    (I tend to skim over mentions of names cuz jApAnEsE nAmEs hArD hUrRdUrR so I must've missed that one)
