I want so bad to like this story because of the reversed trope. I love books with strong and assertive female leads and opposite male leads. But everything you said is absolutely right! Despite the fact that I want to see Havi and Yul together I really was hoping this would end with him finding someone healthier! It’s so toxic, and I have no idea if that’s what the author was going for! You read and read and read waiting for character development and it’s barely given! Despite this I will keep reading lol. Is it that hard to find books with strong female leads without them coming off as overbearing and toxic???

I agree with you and the same thing is going on with historical manhwas where the main leads have children either only girls or a single girl or if luckily there are both son and a girl then the son is supposed to be feminine , meek, artistic while the daughter is expert in horse riding ,swords, and she is a warrior.
I've no issue with it but sometimes it feels too much if the same thing is repeated again and again
very classic 80/90s shojo story with gender reversal as the only "new" idea... apart from the fact that the author is very self-indulgent with sexual harassment and rape, I was able to finish the story without any suspense that unfolds and ends as planned... I give it a 5/10.
ps: i bet the author is probably a neurotic feminist with a huge inferiority complex, because only modern feminists are capable of telling you how toxic masculinity is and at the same time reproducing the same disgusting behavior.
