there are parents like that sadly. they're fine with you having to experience "it" and them thinking "it's just a phase" but by the end of the day you have to give them grandchildren for just random selfish reasons OR to not end the family tree or something (well lol not this deep but i hope you get the gist)
now that MC said that it will never happen she changes her stance she doesnt like them dating anymore cause "what she wanted in the end won't even happen so why even approve of it?"

Ok, maybe she's just testing him, blah, blah, blah... But her stance seems so strange? Like on one hand she's ok with them being together, but on the other, wants her son to get married?? Maybe that's some rich people shit, but it don't make sense. Like how have you ccepted that your son is gay, but still expect him to "settle down" with a woman?
I feel either she's poorly written, I'm dumb and don't understand, or she's testing him.
