He actually asked to care/protect his niece then treats her worse then dirt, uses the child support money on his business and daughter’s dresses, then never bothers to call her by name or tell her how old she is…maybe he thought the duke would die in battle but he’s so stupid and his daughter is cruel and manipulative. I’m sad that she couldn’t stay at the duchy because she’s sensitive to strong magical energy…it must’ve made her brothers blame themselves. ╥﹏╥
