what are u talking about the author is focusing on world building and fleshing out character personalities. the story and art are still masterpieces. if u don’t like storytelling, just say that.
I loved the dark and serious vibe of the first season. As if this manhwa is not the same one where a character like dandelion got killed. And what was the curse of the king before he was killed? Were they just empty threats? I was expecting Wolfgang to turn into a bit of darkness because of his bloodline and maybe to protect Shin... Stuff like that
Yes but good work building is concise, closely related to the plot and central theme. It seems as though there is no central theme. The character development is also thinly spread out since there is no strong enough focus on any character. Good work building is more of an opportunity to add more depth and reality to the work of fiction. Works that have executed world building include the Lord of the Rings books.
Good storytelling includes plot, setting, characters, point of view, and conflict. It is no surprise that creating a story with many pov is hard and rarely done well. So I don’t fault the author for that. As for “fleshing out character personalities” there is not enough focus on any one character. This causes the characters to not be well drawn out. Also the main characters are Shin and Wolfgang. And now it seems as though the daughter should also be a main character. I don’t know. Their appearances are not long enough. And the story doesn’t have a consistent through line anymore. Why?
Also why would I say I don’t like storytelling? I do? It rather seems like you don’t understand what storytelling is or what makes up a story.
Sorry to say that. Anyhow this is listed as one of my favorite Manhwas so I’m dedicated to finishing the story. And as any good observer to a story I do pay attention to all of the story’s elements as any analysis can contribute to the works meaning.

As much as I agree with you that the newer season seems hollow and tame compared to the first 2, I don't think it's fair to compare them. This new season is an epilogue/side story, shin and Wolfgang's story is finished by all means, and the recent chapters are focusing more on the newer generation. Sure with how deep and dark the story goes at times, it's weird to have this overly sugary and sweet season, but then again I don't mind too much
I’m tired and disappointed. What happened? The story and art was a masterpiece in the first season. I will continue to read this in the hopes of it recovering that level of perfection
