I was thinking the same thing. It was easier for me to except it once I started thinking about how she was never really shown affection by anyone up until recently. Especially by a man her age, therefore, she immediately clung to those emotions she felt. Don't get me wrong, it's still far fetched. Though this is fiction so anything can happen~~ (づ￣ ³￣)づ
you're right, she latched on to the first person who showed her kindness ugh I feel sb for her, I still feel more chemistry between her and her right hand maid but historical gl is still non existent sigh

i read the novel, while i read it all i could think is how ridiculous everything is.
she want to die but didn't just because of a maid, she likes the husband but also afraid of him while she seems didn't feel anything before, she doesn't care but care deeply about everything, she likes to go out helping people but only until her husband notice.
and the progression of the story like, she likes him but he hate her when he lost his memory she hate him but he likes her. how the male lead try so desperately to win her even tho he didn't remember who she is.
what I'm try to say is I don't see a connection, and all she does is just self pity
i dont see the chemistry, idk how she fell for him just for one time being nice they havent even had a full proper conversation because he keeps running but even then i think itll just be silence...this couple reminds me of static noise
