Manhua didn't show much how worst seme like in the novel so manhua reader won't hate him much. But as someone who read the novel, he was so terrible, very abusive, narcissistic, cheater, playboy, etc. The ending is awful and it was so unrealistic and annoying when author make them happy ending while the one who saves us from keep reading (2nd ML) died in tragic way. Tbh author needs mental check

But God the novel was just awful. I didn't even know how I kept reading it in I just wanted to know how tf can they ever get past all the bullshit
And yeah I agree with the 2nd ml thing he didn't deserve any of it I really hope he is treated better in the manhua and find his happiness
I just couldn't stop myself and went and read the rest in the novel and God it's sooo fuckin awful and messed up and they get in this cycle of abuse endure abuse endure MEGA abuse finally leaving... oh you are leaving?the hell you are and new cycle of stalk and begging in a abusive way till you cave in and do what I want
It's ughh just frustrating and hard to even read and it's just never ending yk and it just keep happening and they are never actually peaceful or happy NEVER.
I really hope the manhwa decide to choose a better readable story and i feel like it is actually going that way like this last episode have been lighter compared to Manhua (saying that while the poor was just raped is wild but just think about how fucked up that was )
