For someone who is dead at the beginning of the story, we do understand his personality and character really well. Like his belief lives through his friends. His trace is left all over the continent. How could we not love him??
:) and some still going on and on about "she does not have a feelings for him" whatsoever :)))))))))))))) man, she measure every single years from his passing, she even remember exactly how many years since they went to this or that town, which is for someone live on more than 1k years :)
The person who left such an impact on Frieren's life and beliefs to the point that her way of gauging time depends on how long since they last met and later on, the years after he died. Ugh seriously, everytime I read the opening lines, it hurts. It may just be me but it feels like she misses him so much and so her time isn't just some kind of thing that happens but instead, a measure of how long the loss has been uggh the pain （/TДT)/
