Why is he still helping that cousin/actor?

I think he is helping him because he feels guilty for taking his dad (uncle) away from him. Like how when some kids can’t accept another family members because they are afraid that the attention from their parents won’t be all there’s anymore. And then the outsiders would feel really guilty since they would feels like it’s their fault for taking away all the love and affection the cousin deserved.

I have a feeling its more than that I think teh seme might have a plan for the cousin.
