My theory is that the exorcist guy is the snake, and in the mc's past life they were together. There have been several hints like the mc mentioning how the ml talks weirdly, like he's from older times, and the "familiarity" he feels when they do it, etc. It seems everything points to that but I could be wrong ╮(￣▽￣)╭
