No wonder the story is kinda messy. From my experience, novel to manhwa adaptations are for the most part a mess. The manhwa version often lacks pacing, consistency or something.
The novel is a genuine masterpiece. The manwha is decent but I’d rather read the novel.
When I read the novel, I had a particular image of Mazzaroth (the final Gate) in my head based on the descriptions. Always interesting to see an artist’s interpretation of it.
