Initially when I read this manhwa up to the 50s in chapters, it was a very enjoyable and intriguing read but now I see some concerns popping up about the story. First it was the art deteriorating and like someone else mentioned in the comments, Camellia looks even more like a girl with the long hair and it just is not as good as before. Claude looks worse as this goes on.
Second is the conflict of Claude intercepting Camellia's letters to Louver and Camellia being upset over it like "he doesn't love the me from Louver" when in reality it is way more politically complicated and he was literally trying to prevent her being linked to Louver criminally. Not saying what Claude did was great or the best option and I understand Camellia's concern but this conflict in general with Louver trying to recruit Camellia by using her mother as bait is just so underwhelming. The stakes don't feel high and overall I don't really care for her mother at this point in time as we know nothing about her and Camellia herself comes off as naive and stupid when she was shown to be smart and determined previously.
What happened to the smart Camellia who was determined to see her mother again and fight for that. All she has been doing is going to school and waiting for Claude to come back. WHY is she willingly going to meet with the Louver people when she should be smart enough to know that nothing good will come out of this. I know she is desperate to see her mother but really?
The stepmother is literally delusional, trying to sabotage Camellia every chance she gets but bc of the overtly obvious disdain and meddling, it just does not feel realistic. They could have made her more menacing by being more underhanded in her sabotages. Besides her are the Louver people who also seem very obviously evil. They don't make good villains. It just isn't very compelling anymore.
