oh come on, dont normalize it. people complain because it's shitty, it's tiring, it's disgusting. authors relies on rape too much to keep the story going. these authors have to know how important it is to approach these themes with care while focusing on narrative development rather than relying solely on distressing situations for plot progression. i'm actually glad that a lot of people are complaining since it means that they're not desensitized by the abundance of omegaverse stories that use unnecessary rape as a plot device.

He did not "mark" him. His pheromones were "leaking". Woowoo went there knowing the prof was in rut (alpha situations). Given the circumstances, the professor made it very clear he was not in his usual state and asked very straightforwardly to Woowoo if he wanted to help him relieve. Which woowoo refused and the professor respected his decision... precising that he was actually waiting for someone else.

Pretty much sure when I talked about consent, I was referring to the rut scene.
After reading a large variety of omegaverse, having such narrow expectations can sound pessimistic. If many are pissed up, it's maybe because they were not expecting it... or at least, not to this extreme. However, they could expect the seme to be an asshole when the story hints toward it, which this one did regardless of him being an alpha or a bird.
If people wanna drop, so be it. Not everyone can tolerate this much toxicity.
