I think it's super refreshing to have a healthy well talked through sexual as well as romantic relationship for fucking once. I was getting tired of all the rape and assault that BL usually has.
So this is EXACTLY what I want and I am loving it.
I also don't see where you think Jin is ugly. He's just a guy. And I like that. It's not the usual pretty dainty small guy trope. Besides I think he's handsome???

My dude there's no need to write a college essay just bc its not your type of shi lolol tbh a lot of people who got into BL with stuff like painter of the night and BJ Alex kind of have a very common expectation of BL, toxic and way out there. Heck BL has never been healthy, even back then for us it was pure toxic and assault and miscommunication. It's nice to see something that doesn't make me want to punch the wall bc of the atrocious behavior they portray lolol

I’m too contaminated for this kind of plot.
I find it too realistic. I read BL bc of the fantasy that’s created between two men in this genre. I don’t want anything that it’s way too close to real life. And this is like that.
The way they talk about boundaries, one by one with a notepad; the way the navigate sex, how the bottom cries at everything and they’re always in their feelings, very emotional. I know all of these are realistic and healthy things to do. But I don’t read BL to find a realistic representation of homosexuality. I read it as an escape from reality.
I admit that I kept reading because the mystery is interesting. But the romance and the sexual tension is mid at best. And also in hopes the art got better. It’s not like the art is all that bad. I’ve read worse. But what irks me is that the main bottom is the only ugly one. In the beginning I thought that THAT was the intention. The pretty top falling for the not so good looking character trope. But as the story progressed, I realized that they kept saying how gorgeous Jin was and it got me like “what are they talking about?” Because all the characters are decently pretty and attractive (except for Theo since he’s drawn to look like a gorgeous doll) but the other men? Even the extras are somehow pretty or hot EXCEPT Jin. His design looks rough, tired and all around not appealing at all. So, it’s a surprise that it’s drawn with the intention to be a hottie in the universe they’re in.
I’m aware that people are overly sensitive with honest opinions on this comic because people tend to project their ideals into everybody and forget that criticism can come in both positive and negative forms. So, I know for a fact people are gonna dislike my comment and confusing it with hate because of their own personal trauma. But I waited and the story took a lot of my time so I have the right to express my impression on this work. It doesn’t deserve a 1 but it definitely doesn’t deserve a 9.
