Rationally Jiowen escaping country without weijing seems very practical to me . I mean what can he do , he's on a run both police and Mafia is after him , no money , no job , no permanent shelter to call home , no acquaintances , no family , no close friends .
Even if he wants to search for weijing where can he search? Knock on people's door? Big possibility is that instead he might get knocked out. That neighborhood is no joke.
But emotionally I do want him to wait , do something anything , and not leave weijing behind. Not with that asshole .
Weijing already suffered enough.
