My theory is that the Owen's are intense because they are unbalanced - there are 5 Owens, and 5 flavors (salty, sweet, sour, bitter, savory) and so they can be to much for Nux to handle one on one.
So either he'll end up with all five and be happy with the balance they find, or, I'm hoping, Nux splits into five (since he is part of the species Owen is) and so each fragment can handle the specific fragment of Owen since they match their taste.
That way Nux and Original Owen (who...is pregnant? or is that not him?!) end up together...and without the other Owns making him jealous and crazy, he and Nux can get along much better.

To this day I often get confused who's who.
But nux simply don't like them. So pushy, so whiny , so clingy.
Guess he's just going with the flow.
Question is will they ever let him go ?
MC do not like anybody. Will they always keep him emotionally captive like this?
Their obsession is terrifying.
Nux better make all of them pregnant , then make a run for his humble life.
Atleast at the end he can slap some reason on their shit faces.
