ALSO they agreed together on what their roles would be bro she would work and he would raise the child but he also teaches so I mean come on and that once she got to a higher grade which would be 2 more years from the current time I think it said she would quit her job to take over so he could go back to writing. And she dated that guy back in college before meeting him but ig he’s more upset about her not telling him about it. However when the guy tried to talk shit about him she talked shit back to him and had his back and kicked the guy but the husband doesnt seem to really care much tbh he’d rather listen to what the blonde says and I agree what the wife did was messed up but damn ur own blood didn’t even want u man and ur dad left behind debt her mom wasn’t working and they was poor. That already is a red flag. And when she could help out she did, but that only made him more mad. It seems to me that no matter what she did it was never going to be enough for him because he was always comparing her success with his success. And like you said she always stood up for husband, yet he rather side with the brother that he just barely met!!! The brother already kissed the husband twice, which is technically cheating yet the husband gets let off the hook for that??? It feels like the husband fell for the brother to some extent whether it was out of trying to purposely hurt his wife or maybe he did develop some genuine feelings for the blonde guy idk. Agreed, and I feel like the reason the mom wants to be successful so much is because of the way she grow up with her mom, when her and her mom was fighting at the dinner table it was brought up that her mom used to bring him many men all the time and she as very dependent on those men as she didn’t work at all and they was poor. So I can under why the wife wants to succeed so she doesn’t have to depend on anyone herself. Also the husband did say that his own mother hated the fact that back when they first got together his mom didn’t like that his wife was a better writer then him

Read the story carefully. Were the so called blood relative involved in the boy's life before father's death. Why would some random uncle/aunt share child's custody when they did not know the boy. Blondie's anger is his dad spent great deal of money for last 2 years of his life on the woman and her daughter. Then when he died the child was sent to orphanage. He is not just upset she sent him to orphanage. He is upset because the duo were sponge on his dad's money when going was good and then went back on promise to dying man to treat the child as family. We don't know if the debt the man accrued was not because of money he spent on this duo.
For all those who are whining about how if it was home maker female who cheated she would have been slandered, here is news flash. 75% of female cheating story has house wife married to man who is devoted to his job and has no time for her. Hence she cheated. We are meant to sympathize with her. So this gender flip should be judged with same moral standard.
As for hubby, one of the reason why he has inferiority complex is he was always judged harshly by her co-partner who is acknowledged in industry. Because of which hubby thought he was poor writer or he was not paying his due in the marriage. He did not know the other guy was jealous asshole who was brow beating hubby because he was wife's first lover. Every one else around the guy knew the truth. How would a woman feel if she finds out her hubby was still working with his ex who looked down on her.
Did his wife cut ties with director once she realized how it was affecting her hubby who even cut off his family ties for his wife because of his mom. He always sides with his wife. Frankly speaking his wife had no intention of giving up on her career nor was she trying to help him out. She was frankly speaking taking her hubby and kid for granted. Blondie only made use of this weakness to get to the husband. She needed a harsh awakening which she got.

Mom and daughter sponged on the daddy dearest for two long years and promised to take care of young child. The moment he closed eyes, the kid sent him to orphanage. News flash - Wife is bitch who was using her hubby as care taker and letting her asshole partner (cum ex) to treat him like shit. If you find your partner was working with ex who took you down at every chance they got and you are calm about it, I will accept your comment. Hubby sided with his wife when his mom did not treat his wife well and cut the ties off. He helped her out every chance he got. She is getting lightly punished. Defined roles does not mean you take one partner for granted honey. She should have cut ties with her ex when she realized how badly he was hurting the hubby. What if the gender was flipped and it was wife whose hubby was working with ex who looked down on wife each chance they got.
No one works for 24/7 huns. She was getting free labor and she was using it. Period. She was helping a shit. The child was missing her mom more often. He was not comparing the success. By letting her partner and others around him treat her hubby like his sole contribution was home maker (and unfit to be anything else), they were gas lighting him into not believing himself. They were looking down on him. That is what Blondie tried to expose. A true partner ship is where you help each other. When you read a story, flip the gender. Personally for me I don’t care if my significant other has to work with their ex because it happens, that’s life! As long as they don’t cheat (which she didn’t) then that shouldn’t matter. Like I said yes she should’ve told her husband but forcing your spouse to quit a job simply because their ex also works there is super insecure. And it doesn’t even say if his other relatives were or were not apart of his life because it never gave that context so who is to say that his blood relatives weren’t there in the beginning too and then dipped when they dad died. But yet you want people who aren’t even related to this kid to take him as there own when they are already poor. Nah I’m sorry but that doesn’t seem fair. Adoption sucks but living with a family who doesn’t want you or can even provide for you because they are so poor is just as bad. Which is honestly probably why the wife was so work driven, because she didn’t want to end up like her mom and rely on a man for money. I get what ur saying that maybe those debts happened while trying to support the duo but don’t forget that he also had to support his son as well and if he was taking on debt to support the 3 of them then what the fuck kinda work was he doing?? She probably didn’t have time to worry about a kid she knew for 2 year and had to push her guilt aside to move on with her life. Where was the kids mother? It didn’t say she died, maybe she did maybe she didn’t his blood relatives are definitely knew about him and about his father since it said they refused to take him which why they made the decision to send him to the orphanage.
