It’s a form of respect for older people. If you’ve read Dangerous Convenience Store, it’s like how the uke calls the seme “ajusshi” (uncle). But thinking about it now, it would be cute to see it as the pinyin “shu shu”… (๑❛ᴗ❛๑)
The uncle thing is really weird.... I don't know which translation I was expecting, but uncle really isn't one of them....I know he's not his uncle, but I don't know, just call him by his name
