Nah the cub is the bottom, the kid holding the prince and cub is the top. I think in an earlier chapter the top said he hated the tigers bc they killed his dad so these chapters are showing what happened.

But damn, the tigers don't deserve it. Humans are invading their spaces after all. And although I felt sorry for father, it would be so weird if the human win against a literal tiger god. (〜￣△￣)〜
