Don't know if u realized it by now but he was changing the pace of the fight to reveal 4 of choyuns cards this means he could've won at any time but it would've been disadvantage to show extra cards.

Ohh thank you I was a lil confused.. cuz when he was fighting the white haired guy and their strength stats were the same he was struggling because white hair has more intelligence
