It’s been existing since forever and will always exist in fictional world because there are so many authors that can seperate what’s real and not. And they know that their art is meant for adults who are expected to be wise enough to enjoy that kind of thing in fictional while not condemning real rape in REAL WORLD.

It is still objectively wrong to romanticize rape in mangas just because it isn't REAL, it not being real still doesn't make it right. Making it a laughing matter when its happening everyday in the real world is just horrible. This creates a mindset for disgusting people that rape is ok in fiction it like saying pedophilia is ok in fiction and it's not. Some people take that mindset into the real world everyday, it genuinely doesn't matter if it's real or not it isn't right or cute or funny, it's disgusting and horrible and people like you are making rape seem to not be a real problem at all. You sit here and say it's wrong irl but it's fine in a manga? No it isn't at all and you are belittling the severity of rape as a whole.
U r saying like if i love eren that means i support genocide in real life too because i love fictional man who literally killed tons of innocent people. And if i play GTA and i enjoy killing innocent npcs with my weapons in game that means i must be a horrible human being too in real life because i ‘romanticize’ killing people in fictional world.

I love how people are trying to normalize the rape and say it was consensual because he confessed while drunk, but bro.... HE WAS DRUNK if you have sex with a person while they're DRUNK it is STILL RAPE!!!! and genuinely you don't have to read that far into it to realize that the rape is made "comedic" in this story.
