This is the end of the manga series. The printed manga of the third volume has yet to be released, which will end with the chapter you just read (ch. 42) . There is a light novel you can read where the story continues.

No, I have not read it so I have got no clue as to what the ending is. As far as I know it just continues further than where the manga ended off. I also looked up opinions/reviews of the light novel and it’s not looking to good. Granted the most recent reviews I have seen only go up to volume 3
