Why would he give him a knife that could kill him to a servant he doesn't trust? That doesn't make sense. And the example I gave shows he cares about Kyon. You don't get jealous over or try to protect someone you don't care about. But I suppose, you're free to read the situation how you want.
People can get jealous for many reasons, not just because of love. I don't understand where the confusion came in for you, either there or with my other comment about how he doesn't trust him so he gave him the knife to kill him because he thinks a servant can easily betray him and do just that to their master (kill them)? It WILL be a bit easier to take him down when he's a Zero rather than now, after all...?
i wasn't confused, I was questioning your reasoning. It's obvious Lucaon cares about Kyon. I'm not sure how you could miss all the hints. Lucaon didn't want Ryan to touch Kyon because Lucaon didn't like it. What other reason would there be for him telling someone not to touch Kyon, especially with an irritated look on his face? And he gave the knife to Kyon because he trusts him; there is no other explanation. Unless you're arguing he gave it to him as a test of loyalty? That could be part of it, but I doubt it. He gave the knife to Kyon so Kyon could protect himself, perhaps even from Lucaon himself. That's because he cares for Kyon. I thought this was all pretty obvious at this point...
I agree with Miwa. He totally cares Kyon but after you know, the massacre of his family I think he reserves the right to be cautious with his emotions. Plus, telling someone to not touch another and then immediately and delicately hold their hand (siphon energy) and then fuck their brains out, to me is a prreettyyy good indication that he gots feels. #mytwocents
I'm pretty sure Lucaon cares for Kyon, he's still having a hard time opening himself to others and showing his emotions. Lucaon gave Kyon the knife, protected him when he was in danger, and told Ryan to get his hands of Kyon lol He cares.
