Bc both for her family and outsiders she is nothing but her mother's doll who acts as her mother says. She too had no problem playing her mother's doll until she realized she really is nothing but a doll to her mother that she would do with as she pleases. Even if she left the family and got married the perception is hard to change bc they know her mother will use her authority to do with her whatever she wants and she'll have no option but to go back to her mother. Unless she establishes her own authority she would stay as nothing but her mother's doll in people's eyes.
Does no one in this story know how to listen? Why can't they let her finish what she's trying to say first before responding or doing anything?
