I love how this manga shows a redemption arc. That just because her dad started to like her AFTER she started acting differently to get his approval did not mean she should just forget all the cruel things he said about her. I love that he actually found what he did wrong and apologized to her for all the trauma he caused her. If he wants a relationship with her it was to start with an apology and it's up to her to forgive him
