It feels rushed cause it was rushed. There is multiple plotlines that didn't get tied up properly. MC never finished his current in-game quest with the kid. His friends' song got released but it was highly implied their villian was planning something and we never saw that. The game itself had an ongoing plotline we hardly scratched the surface of. We saw the first hints of a romance between MC and that ED girl but obviously that's not getting followed up on. A bunch of MCs friends are still in the "kinda mysterious" stage instead of the "fleshed out" stage almost like they had small plots planned down the line to flesh them out more.
So I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be longer but wasn't for some reason.
