she needed them because the perverted hag could easily make the divorce about Ilyan which means she has to split everything with the hag, remember the hag was nothing before he married her so of course he want the money to live comfortably after the divorce. plus Ilyan wanted to be done with the hag so like two birds one stone
Sure the story is a lil..eh, like I don't get why Helen needed these two for a divorce and the whole "selling my brother" and "call boy" thingy was presented like some deep dark secret.
But no random rape plots, Kyle is such a green flag - I love how their relationship progresses. Would have liked more of the main couple. The ending kinda seems abrupt. I have read it twice.
