Honestly if nobody knows it’s his kid, these people are blind, they literally look alike ┑(￣Д ￣)┍. Plus I don’t think Romeo truly likes Rosaline but only wants her cause she’s rejecting him so harshly and is getting close with another man whom he doesn’t like ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I think not.. I guess he just want to control a part of the Capulets so he could have both Montague's and Capulets
