Is the novel better?

Definitely, even if this is IMO a masterpiece, the book is much more detailed and delves deeper into the relationship between dex and sloane, as well as that of dex and his brother. Also, the book explains better Sloane who is sometimes an ass but at least we can understand why. Then the story becomes more and more interesting as the books progress!
