Yep Godas assistant confirmed that Oda was crying so hard he couldn’t finish drawing the panels :(
i don’t think there was a confirmed reason yet, but i do know about that one sbs where he says he gets too emotional sometimes while drawing and has to stop. but yea the beginning of the chapter mentions how he didn’t finish it in time and i’m sure he feels guilty/sad about it. i don’t wanna speculate about health issues, but i do hope he’s taking care of himself. i don’t mind only getting a chapter or two a month if it means he gets to rest
I love how the way oda drew the panels changes to compliment the emotions we needed to feel- it really made me cry- kuma looks so human and full of emotions on this chapter and literally just compare him to his present self and it hurts me so bad
