Exactly, I have had this opinion for a long time. Action and Romance DONT GO WELL WITH EACHOTHER. We read action for action. and Read romance for romance. When the two worlds collide, its like a black hole. You get sucked into the story but at the end when there is romance, you feel nothing because its JUST NOT COMPATIBLE.
This happened with Solo Leveling. I loved it so much until it had a girl trying to smooch of the MC.
Its sad having to drop such good stories, like I wouldve been fine if the girl was like a badass or something (︶︿︶)＝凸
True, Solo leveling is so good! Like, I spend most of my time reading it but the end was not for me... Maybe for those who love romance!!
Omg here am i thinking that i have an unpopular opinion that romance in action stories like these are fucking useless and stupid, since it will never be the actual reason why someone reads this story... It really seems alot of people don't enjoy romance in action stories. I hope in the future they will Focus less on romance and more on action, worldbuilding and story
