her kid wont be heir to this kingdom cause the crown princess is still there. the ML is just the kings brother, he doesnt place higher in the line compared to the princess. but yes, if the princess dies without kids, ML would be next in line and his children follows, if the princess has kids, they come first than ML and his kids. personally i think itd be lame if they end up being emperor empress, im still rooting for the princess to be emperor
also...FL is a bastard child cause she was born out of wedlock, the grand duke didnt even knew she was pregnant and she gave birth in a marriage with another. for FL to be royal she has to be recognized but the grand dukes parents hate her mother and all so i think itll be unlikely for them to takeover any kingdom, i think theyll stay grand duke and grand duchess of the current empire
