tbh, hee ryang is def very aware that his life is at risk at all times. in a way, even though he is determined to achieve his goal (was it ever mentioned what his goal was? ) i think he also is resigned to the dangers of his life (death).
they’re both starting to show a crack in their feelings but they fight it well ngl. the story’s politics are confusing but v interesting to me. although the old english makes the plot even more confusing for my bird brain, it’s enjoyable and makes the story better all the same.
Hee ryang wants a beautiful downfall/karma? Like yeonjo getting his Revenge but loving him at the same time. He must know that yeonjo is coming up with a plan.(since he's always two steps ahead)
