I remember this one conversation I had with a professor. He said that people can't simply be categorized at "black and white" (personality wise) but of myriads of colors. Good people aren't purely good and bad people aren't pure bad. They are defined by their choices in life. I understand how both came to be as they are but all they did was to hurt each other.
