I'm not writing anything about the main couple because i myself had mixed feelings about them. But the second couple made me so uncomfortable! Their first interaction was bad enough and it didn't get any better from there. I was waiting for Noel to finally put his feet down and stand up in front of Joshua or leave him but it never happened. Noel was putting up so much and going easy on him and acted like he had no other choice because love makes you do anything. Like author thought Noel wasn't as bad as Joshua with staying by his side and his actions shouldn't have any consequences because he's not the bad guy here, but when you think about it he actually Provoked Joshua because Joshua knew Noel would be there for him no matter what he did so he went all out. obviously it wasn't as romantic and Noel’s character and actions were not as relatable as the author thought. Joshua didn't deserve any sympathy, forgiveness or even another chance in life and Noel was so low for defending him and staying on his side even though he knew he was wrong. Honestly That's my main problem with most bls. they forgive anything just to get a happily ever after and some smut and call it character Development but that's just bad writing and letting it go. I get that sometimes you just want to read something and don't think much of it but when my sense of justice and morals get questioned so much, it does the opposite and leaves me feeling uneasy and unsatisfied! So even though I don't have a comment on the main couple i feel free to say I didn't like their story. Overall it felt like "love is an illusion" in another font which i didn't like either! I wish There were more better Omegaverse and works like these didn't represent it.
