Yes but I rather it be when there’s someone there to actually comfort him. The man has been through hell with loan sharks and life; the only thing keeping him going is granny if he loses her now he only have “red flag” to depend on and that just depressing.
Knowing how much the author likes to hurt Dan I‘m not sure which direction she‘s gonna go. If she‘s gonna establish their relationship more so he can lean on Jaekyung or if it‘s gonna turn into a breaking point for Dan, since he would lose the only person in his life who ever cared for him
Ngl I feel sorry for Dan ): he hasn’t seen much kindness in his life and Jaekyung doing the bare minimum was enough to make him fall for him. Dan sees Jaekyung as unreachable so I don’t think he‘ll confess to him anytime soon (the time he was drugged doesn’t count)
