Loki is technically an Aesir like Thor and Odin, but he's a "cunning" trickster god who had multiple children who were not entirely humanoid. One of his children was his daughter Hel, she ruled Niflheim or a realm inside it named "Helheim" for souls of the dead who did not go to Valhalla. I'm guessing that his name being Loki, he considers Niflheim his "daughter" as his daughter ruled over it a part of it. Idk why the author didn't just call it Helheim tho instead of Niflheim.
No connection really. I'm just assuming Han chose that username to match the name of his waiting room for aesthetics. Doesn't necessarily need to be in actual accuracy with Norse mythology. He probably didn't too much about and just Loki username sounds cool
