I have always thought about what I would do if I was in the character's shoes. Quite frankly, I don't think my mind or body would be able to handle such trauma and I would pass away. Not because of suicide, but because I simply wouldn't be able to bear it. It amazes me how strong Ines is.
This is the first time I have actually felt my heart break for a manhwa character. Sure I'll sob over Penelope from "Death is the only ending for a Villainess" and Ruri from "Stepmother's Marchen", but for the first time my heart hurts. My stomach has become a bottomless pit and I can't stop thinking of the pain, sadness, anger, humiliation, dehumanization, and everything in between that Ines experienced. It angers me, but most of all, it breaks my heart. Truly.
