Because he's damn annoying. One reason that you can't stand a person is because he's annoying AF. If you don't understand that, there's something wrong with you.

He's fake, he's using people, he hasn't tried to understand why Hee-ryang did what he did, or who is really to blame. I hate these kind of people that's focused on just one thing (in this case revenge) and who doesn't look at the big picture.

I don't remember if Yeonjo ever talked about the king or how much he knows about what was going on between the different clans. It's annoying that he has no interest in that, just in revenge.
And what I mean that he uses ppl is the fact that he befriended the prostitute just so he could use him.
I think Yeonjo is capable of doing the same thing as Hee-ryang if Yeonjo was in his place. They are really alike.
