There were so many ways to tell the story of their past. Like soooooo many different ways. For starters they could’ve both been presenting adults or hyo un could’ve been an entity the whole time instead of being a child. With this kind of set up from the very beginning of s2 was already worrisome. It only gets worse as the chapters progress. Honestly it’s sad considering how well the first season was going. I’m curious to see how the author is going to handle them in the present with what’s being presented now. But I’m most likely not reading the rest of this season until the story is back in the present.
