I like many things about this even though I do believe some parts feel ungrounded, this chapter just reminded me of what I love about it. It really showed some human parts of the characters that I like to see. It really feels out of place when Callahan is being a pos for no reason other than "it's just the way he is" like when he forced himself onto him even though he apparently despises him and takes his job very seriously. I know that he's like a killing machine or whatever but it wouldn't hurt for us to see him as a person for once, is that too much to ask? And I really hope that development actually happens and all that isn't glossed over
