I also have black hair, but I’ve seen blonde hair get dusty and turn brown? Don’t know how that translates to red-heads, especially in a fantasy world with really bright hair colors, but it’s plausible.

This is probably gonna be odd to ask, but do people's hair color change if their hair is dirty? Can a red hair really turn brown like that? As someone with black hair, I don't know what it's like.
