i think they are brothers..
I don't get why some translators even choose to use brother. The majority of us know what hyung is. If someone doesn't, they can do a simple Google search or see it in a translators note.
I can’t tell if the dead guy is actually related to the uke or if he’s just brother as in his “hyung” as a term of endearment.
