It would do nothing to readers because contrary to what many seem to believe woman do have working brains that can separate problematic fantasies being explored in fiction from real life.
I don't know who exactly started this trend to treat women and girls as particularly susceptible to media (always interesting how it's only about romance genre though, no one talks about girls and women watching violence, horror etc) but real life abuse occurs for reasons much more complex than people reading hot pictures engaging in non con. But go off I guess. I wonder how much readers that complain about these stories do in real life for real people that are actually struggling.

I.... Do you perhaps lack reading comprehension? I never ever even directed my comments on female readers? So your whole tangent should already fall down, but of course, rl abuse occurs for reasons much more complex than this stupid fucking manhwa (concluding the opposite is insulting, which I never did, but you did ...? but I digress)
My whole stance is that media, especially those in pornographic nature, are addictive and do affect it's consumer. Google what porn does to your brain if no one ever teaches you on what it does.
"This is just a story, it's not like watching porn on phub for 8 hrs straight". And what separates the two? Aren't they both, when simmered down, just supposedly fiction (pwp) pieces of media that involve images being displayed on your screen?
Lastly, you're asking what do I do irl for real ppl that actually struggles, as if it jabs anything. I could ask the same for you yet the difference between us is at least I don't push and indirectly promote abuse so
"ruining the story for everyone" when the story is just abuse on top of abuse on top of abuse? like if this was an irl celeb story y'all would be rioting on the streets
