I usually skip over that part but from what I can understand.

-Theo is an important noble.
-Seth is a prince of a rebel nation that the emperor (or king idk) wants to control
-theo was sent to kill seth end tge rebellion but he got preggo. Thus their deal was struck

-Calion (whatever his name is) I believe is royal wants Theo but Theo (and his mother) does not want to be controlled anymore than they are.
