For those people who keeps complaining about the long ass backstory just get out of here. World building and character building isn't something that can be done in 10 chapters or less. And the author literally gave a heads up that it will take a while to finish.

I really appreciate how the author is taking their time building the plot of the story and characters. The characters are complex and interesting. And most importantly, from the very start romance wasn't even the main focus and they have slow burn relationship.

It just like how Brian makes Sol open up and warm up to him while Sol does the same to Ian this time.
