Nah bro thise times had some bad double standards. If she did that she could be exiled or executed for betraying the emperor but it's okay for the emperor because theres more chances of getting a sucessor.

I’m sure it’s not allowed but technically if he gets his mistress pregnant, can’t the empress get pregnant by her “assistant”? Like they both have illegitimate babies? If she is pregnant then that poor child will be used so much before it even opens its eyes.
