When i look back i do agree that season 2 compares weak to season 1, the story isn't as heavy as to the first one (reason i fell in love with the series). But i do like the retonement arc seth is going and quite frankly most people that are still reading and still enjoying it (like me) are bc of the characters. I really love seth as a character, i can't describe it, since i both find him badass af and cute.

But yeah, if you where to ask me what the goal is, ifk probably say "atonement ig? But how, idk". Compared to that i still remember the overall plot of the first season. So I'd really wish there is some end goal here thats made clear or smth.

But again, Ennead is the one of the few webtoons im having happy kicks bc one ch. came online (BUT THEN ITS JUST PLACEHOLDER) so this is just some mid season rant and also a way to show luv. I don't agree with the people who think it got bad, sincw this season is obviously relationship heavy, but i do love me some good plot as the secondary priorities when it comes to romance- So yeah ifk i just woke up so my thoughts are random idk qwq

The only thing I don't understand is the relationship between Seth and Osiris. And now, in season 2, is Osiris dead? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

    Osiris is in Duat

In one of the chapters I’m pretty sure he said he can’t die if it’s not his own will, being the god of life and everything, which is why Seth had to trick him.

Yep, it's just like you say. Osiris is in Duat, and he's in Duat precisely because he's dead. He's been dead (and bound to Duat) since day 1: the only reason he's been showing up "alive" (ages after Seth had succeeded in tricking him into killing himself, just as you said) is because Osiris has been possessing the bodies of "living" people (first Anubis, and then that old guy who made the caravan men gang-rape Seth). Anubis and the old guy could get possessed by Osiris because Osiris had resurrected them both after they had each already died once, and met with Osiris himself, in Duat. The reason Osiris could revive them is because they weren't gods (Anubis wasn't a god at the time, either). Osiris can't resurrect himself because he can't resurrect gods: he can only resurrect humans, animals and demigods, but not full-fledged gods.
