i think many people aren't angry that they didn't end up together but from other things mainly. from what i've read everyone has said that the side stories are basically useless and have no purpose because dohyeok was basically just tortured over and over that's it he didn't change or stop being an asshole or learn from this experience no he still stays the same and that's it. also another thing is that people are mad that siwoo the asshole gets a happy ending and so does jiwoon who's also a dipshit asshole as well and the people who gang raped dohyeok never get their karma so the author is being hypocritical for having some assholes end up happy and others not.
I wouldn’t call Siwoo’s ending happy at all lol he’s forcing himself to be with people he doesn’t have feelings for to run away from facing the fact that he was getting attached to someone like Dohyeok.
I’ll agree tho that it sucks that the plot was left unresolved with those ex-friends of Dohyeok that gangraped him. They should’ve had repercussions at least.
oh yeah siwoo's obviously gonna break up with that faceless guy he's pretending to like but i meant that siwoo just goes on with his life in the end yk a good job a nice life and friends but doesn't get any karma for what he's done as well.
yeah there were sooo many things that were left without closure or anything that's why it's such a shit ending but i hope maybe it ends now and comes back later in its own story or maybe not? idk
idc if they ended up together, but this ending was so out of nowhere and makes the whole story a waste of time, like what was the point of having do-yeok go through all of that, just for him to not learn anything or change as a character? who writes something that ends where it began…it’s like the basic rule of writing to do something with your characters. and not only did the main character of this side story’s personality go nowhere, but the fact his r*pist gets no karma or nothing. it’s just wierd. writing SA and r*pe into a story jus for like…no real reason…these authors just keep doing it and it’s really making me mad and here i was thinking maybe they were using it to highlight the problems with doing it, the effects and how to move towards recovering..but no, he never gets that closure either. basically like they took the story and ended it in the middle there’s so much more plot potential no one should be attacking anyone on their opinion but i DEF find it hard to see how anyone could be content w this bs LMAO.
Yall acting like siwoo and dohyeok not ending together is the worst thing that could possibly happen like you dont always end up with people you love its bittersweet sure but yall attacking anyone who is content with the ending is crazy especially when the author said from the jump hes not getting a happy ending
