The otome game is highly likely, I say
I think he needs to choose a character to go on in a route and unknowingly chose Doha here because he already forgot the rules. Hence, Doha can kill the killers and why other love stories are developing on their own.
Or,
The main character of the game is really a love line with Doha from the start, as other love lines seems to be already established, which is why Doha can kill the killers.
Doha's dialogue about how even if Bada is wrong about his assumptions, he'll never leave his side, why does that feel like foreshadowing. Is it just me? Bada is technically an unreliable narrator, we only know what he himself knows. The narration itself is limited to what the characters experience. Bada said that he can't quite remember his real life anymore and how he got inside the game. What if he's wrong and this isn't actually about survival but a different one? Is it a last man standing/hunger games type of thing? But how come he can't kill the killer? Should he kill the other NPCs? Ugh because of that line I really feel like Bada is playing the game incorrectly... Imagine if it's actually an otome game lmaoooooooo kidding aside, I love the fact that this story keeps me guessing (≧∀≦)
(Wait I just read the other commenters theory and I fcking love the part where Bada is actually the NPC!! )
